Our researchers - Dr James Peters
Contributing to research themes:
James is a UKRI Innovation Fellow at Health Data Research UK and Clinical Reader in Rheumatology. His group’s research lies at the interface of molecular epidemiology, computational biology and clinical medicine. Their focus is understanding the molecular and cellular basis of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases using a combination of genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics. They employ a wide range of techniques including longitudinal molecular profiling, polygenic risk scores, and Mendelian randomisation, leveraging both their own in-house datasets and also publicly available resources (eg GWAS summary statistics, UK Biobank).
