Contributing to research themes:

Dr Signoret obtained her PhD at the Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML-France), where she studied CD4 as immune receptor for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in the group of Prof. Quentin Sattentau (now University of Oxford). She moved to University College London as a Marie Curie funded post-doctoral fellow working in the group of Prof. Mark Marsh at the MRC-LMCB, where she developed her interest in molecular sensors called chemokine receptors by investigating their role as HIV co-receptors. She joined the Hull York Medical School (HYMS) to start her academic career in York, and her lab investigates the functional regulation of chemokine receptors in the immune system to better understand their contribution to health and disease processes.
