Sarah Walmsley is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Edinburgh and Wellcome Senior Clinical Fellow. Her research aims to define the role of oxygen sensing and metabolism in myeloid cell mediated inflammation and host pathogen responses and the therapeutic potential of manipulating these pathways in inflammatory lung disease.
